As a communicator of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Heart of the Nation seeks to renew, reawaken and support the faith of Catholics through:

  1. The broadcast of the Catholic TV Mass for the homebound;
  2. The distribution of Faith-formation video programming for use in parish and classroom settings;
  3. The production of entertaining children's programs that teach Gospel values.

Since Holy Saturday, 1984, Heart of the Nation has been broadcasting the Sunday TV Mass to homebound Catholics throughout the Los Angeles area.

The TV Mass has an estimated audience of over 45,000 with greater numbers of viewers tuning in each week. Through the thousands of notes and letters we receive from viewers, we know that all kinds of people watch the Mass:

People who have been faithful Catholics all their lives and now find themselves homebound or too ill to attend Mass at their local parish.

People who have fallen away from the Church and now are curious and want to learn how they can come back.

People who aren't Catholic yet find comfort in the prayers of the Mass.

It can be so lonely and sad to be shut-in and cut-off from the outside world. Won’t you consider a gift today to help keep the Heart of the Nation Sunday Mass on TV?
