Lord Jesus, In remembrance, I faithfully pray For men and women who have been called to serve: Seeking peace where there is violence, Protecting lives where there is peril, Upholding freedom where there is oppression. On this day, I join in prayer For all who have lost life or ability or loved ones in war. May their sacrifices have continued meaning, Love’s comfort endure beyond the pain, and Their service be saluted with unforgotten gratitude. Amen.
