July 8, 2023: Around Your Table
Lord Jesus, You invite people to gather around the Your table at Mass, to be nourished through Word and Eucharist. May I nourish the people around me through Your love that is part of me. Where there is unrest in the world, may people gather around tables to resolve what violence cannot. Amen.
July 7, 2023: A Walk with the Lord
In the woods, with dappled light, lie roots and rocks I may not see. Lord Jesus, please be with me, though I stumble along the way. Only from a distance does the route to a mountain summit seem clear. Lord Jesus, be my foothold while showing me the way. In the sands of shore or desert, footprints quickly disappear. Lord Jesus, walk beside me when it seems hard to follow Your way. On the sidewalks of a city, Each intersection holds a choice. Lord Jesus, guide me constantly in all Your loving ways. Amen.

Lord Jesus, I come to You in prayer and ask for the grace That I need on this day, in this time and place: To pray with confidence that You hold me dearly, Through good times and days when I grow weary; To welcome You thankfully and with praise, Knowing that You will seek me if I go astray; To be open to blessings and Your gifts, Trusting in You, whose love and compassion uplift.
