Loving Father, Please bless fathers, grandfathers, and godfathers with patience to teach repeatedly, both gentleness and strength, readiness to forgive, grace to love unconditionally, delight in seeing children grow, wisdom to lend a hand or let go, generosity to give of themselves while living faithfully, and the joy of life with You eternally. Amen.

Lord Jesus, Like the plants that reach toward sunlight to grow and flourish, yet I thirst for water living. I give You thanks for love outpoured, Light of faith, Bread to nourish, wellspring of love and giving. In storms that I must weather, let me turn to You in faith, for You alone can calm my fear. Though unworthy as a temple Of the Holy Spirit, May my heart be open to guidance and the faith to hear it. Your Son is head of the Body, And yet I am a part. Please pray for me to become a tug of hope in others’ hearts. If a body were only eyes How could it walk or hear? No matter how small my part, may Your Son’s love, though me, appear. Amen.
